Doug Gresenz

Doug was raised in a military family and grew up fishing even throughout all the moving around. Eventually Doug would  join the United States Marine Corps serving as an 0351 assaultman, He discovered kayak fishing in 2013 and has been on the water non stop ever since.

Doug fishes all over the country and competes in several tournament circuits in Texas, Wisconsin and Florida. Doug is working on his ACA kayaking instructor certification in 2018, Doug has experience fishing in a little bit of everything from the Great Lakes for salmon and pike, to the Florida coast for sailfish as well as some inshore action down in Texas.

Doug is very active in the organization Heroes on the Water and is currently serving on the leadership team of the south eastern Wisconsin chapter where he shares his love and passion of the sport with veterans, first responders and they’re families.

Doug represents Viking Kayaks USA, Railblaza, Yak Gear, Yogi Rods, Rockport Kayak and Heroes on the Water.
